Kevin Bordine Bio:

Music has been a constant in Kevin’s life since he was a baby, Not wanting to go to bed for his mother without hearing the Hogan’s heroes theme song. He took guitar lessons from age 5 to age 7, only stopping because his guitar teacher was going off to college and he didn’t want anyone else to(he thinks he had a crush on her even at that early age). He listened to music all the time, actually studying the “theory” behind it subconsciously. Along that time he also played drums, being in a band with a junior high and high school friend. After high school he decided he didn’t want to be at the back of the band so he went back to guitar full time, buying his first real guitars and amps. He also kept playing drums and taught himself bass guitar so he could begin writing and recording songs. In 2010 He wrote and recorded an EP of Christian pop/ rock/ worship songs called “Let Them Hear” with Pete Bishop, who got him started on the journey of recording and releasing two more projects (Identity and Broken Into Beautiful) with all the instruments and vocals done by himself. he had put a band together with his sons and different guitar players to support gigs made because of this material. Through that experience, the band members at the time woodshedded 5 new original songs that were more classic rock mixed with alternative called “Loose Ends” in September of 2016.By 2019, the band would play quite a few local shows, mixing classic rock nuggets with some originals thrown in. Covid struck in 2020, wiping their calendar of any gigs until July of 2021 where they played their final show. Life has taken them on different paths since then, but Kevin has continued to keep his chops up by playing and singing with the Crossroads Community Church in Adrian Michigan, a part of that team since around 2008. In 2023 he formed an acoustic duo with Scott Loar, playing classic rock unplugged style at breweries and wineries and local fairs and parties. In 2025 he joined Iron Cowgirl Missy, playing electric guide and lending vocals on her original material. He is also back to giving guitar lessons to local students, passing on that musical spark to the next generation of rockers!!
